Al-Suwailm Joins Saudi National Team Camp Replacing Injured Al-Lajami
Defender Abdulaziz Al-Suwailm, a player from Al-Fateh, joined the Saudi Arabia B national team's camp held in Jeddah, replacing Ali Lajami who joined the first national team led by Hervé Renard.
Lajami was called up to the national team instead of Hassan Tambakti, who was excluded due to injury, as part of the ongoing preparations during the international break.
Al-Suwailim participated in the training session held on Tuesday evening under the supervision of Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio, as part of preparing the reserve team for upcoming commitments.
The first and "B" national teams have been in simultaneous training camps since last Sunday and will continue until March 31, as part of their preparations for the 2026 World Cup finals.
The Saudi national team is scheduled to face the Egyptian national team on March 27 in Jeddah, before meeting the Serbian national team on the 31st of the same month.
