Press reports have revealed the stance of Ivorian international Franck Kessié, the midfielder for Al-Ahli Saudi FC, regarding the renewal of his contract with the club in the upcoming period, amidst the uncertainty surrounding his future.

According to the "Al-Riyadiyah" newspaper, Kessié has not yet made a final decision about continuing with Al-Ahli, as he prefers to wait before taking a new step, especially with interest from several clubs in the Italian league to bring him back.

The newspaper explained that the player is open to the idea of returning to Italy, a choice favored by his family. However, at the same time, he has not closed the door on staying with Al Ahly, with whom he has a contract until next June.

The case of Kessie is one of the most prominent issues on the table for Al-Ahly's management, whether it involves renewing his contract or agreeing to his departure for a new experience.

Kessie played 110 matches for Al-Ahli, during which he scored 23 goals and provided 12 assists, contributing to the team's victories in the AFC Champions League for the elite and the Saudi Super Cup.
