The Portuguese coach, Sérgio Conceição, of Al-Ittihad is seeking quick solutions to address the shortage of players during the current international break.

The team is preparing to resume training next Friday, following the end of the 8-day break granted to the players.

The club is suffering from the absence of a large number of its international players, as it will be missing the services of 10 members during this period.

The coach resorted to promoting several youth team players to compensate for the absences and participate in the upcoming group training sessions.

This approach coincides with the establishment of an internal training camp for the team, which includes playing two friendly matches to maintain readiness.

The club recently exited the King's Cup after losing to Al-Kholood on penalties in the semi-final.

Conceição is striving to get the team back on the winning track, both in the league and during their upcoming match against Al Wahda of the UAE in the Asian championship.

"The 'Brigadier' is preparing to face Al-Hazm on April 3, as part of the league competition, where they currently hold the sixth position with 42 points."
