The Royal Army secured a victory over their host, the Egyptian Pyramids, with a score of 2-1, earning a ticket to the semi-finals of the African Champions League. The match took place today, Friday, at the Air Defense Stadium as part of the second leg of the quarter-finals.

The Moroccan team started the match strongly, opening the scoring early through Reda Slim in the ninth minute with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area that goalkeeper Ahmed El-Shenawy could not stop.

In the second half, the Royal Army strengthened their lead with a second goal by Mohamed Rabie Harimat in the 54th minute, capitalizing on a cross from a corner kick executed by Reda Slim, which he expertly headed into the net.

Pyramids responded by reducing the gap through Fiston Mayele in the 62nd minute, but that was not enough to change the course of the match.

The first leg match held in Rabat ended in a 1-1 draw, confirming the Royal Army's superiority in the aggregate score and securing their qualification.

With this victory, the Royal Army will face the winner of the match between Al-Hilal of Sudan and Renaissance Berkane in the semi-finals, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday.
