Saturday 21-03-2026
All eyes are on the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, where the draw for the 2026 AFC Champions League finals for the elite will take place on Wednesday, March 25, at 3 PM at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation.

The draw ceremony reveals the knockout stage matchups from the quarter-finals to the final in a tournament held in a single-elimination format from April 16 to 25 in the city of Jeddah.

The event is held without a geographical division between the clubs of the East and the West, after four teams from the East had previously secured qualification, while the qualification of the Western clubs will be decided in the upcoming stage.

The event will feature the presence of former Saudi star Hussein Abdulghani as a guest of honor, where he will participate in the draw procedures, drawing on an impressive international career that exceeded 100 matches with the national team.

The eight clubs will be allocated to specific positions within the tournament path, divided into two levels based on their results, to ensure balanced matchups between teams from the two continents in the decisive rounds.

The quarter-final matches will begin on April 16, with the remaining matches to follow consecutively, leading up to the final match on April 25 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, with a prize exceeding 12 million dollars.
