FIFA Imposes Strict Sanctions on the Zionist Entity's Federation
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the imposition of strong sanctions on the Israeli Football Association after it was found to have committed several illegal violations, according to the investigation conducted by the federation's disciplinary committee following a complaint by the Palestinian Football Association regarding discrimination.
The FIFA statement confirmed that the investigation proved the Zionist entity's federation violated Article 13 concerning aggressive behavior and breach of fair play principles, as well as Article 15 related to discrimination and racial abuse.
The sanctions imposed by the FIFA committee on the Zionist entity's federation were as follows:
A financial fine of 150,000 Swiss Francs.
2- Issuing an official warning to the union regarding its misconduct.
3- Implementing a preventive plan that includes displaying a prominent and clear banner with the phrase: "Football Unites the World, No to Discrimination," alongside the federation's logo, during the next three national team matches in FIFA competitions.
The International Federation clarified that the Zionist entity's federation must submit the design and size of the banner, as well as the plan for its placement in the stadium, at least 15 days before each match.
FIFA also required the Israeli entity's federation to invest one-third of the fine amount within 60 days of notification in implementing a comprehensive plan to combat discrimination and prevent the recurrence of such violations. This plan should include reforms, protocols, monitoring, and educational campaigns in stadiums and on official channels throughout an entire season. The remaining amount is to be paid within 30 days of notification.
FIFA confirmed on its official website that the Zionist entity has been officially notified of the contents of this disciplinary decision issued by the relevant committee, to ensure full compliance with the sanctions and preventive measures.
