Thursday 19-03-2026
The French coach Hervé Renard announced the list of players for the Saudi national team's March training camp, as part of the intensive preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

The Green's training camp will take place from March 22 to 31, held in the cities of Jeddah and Serbia. It will include two friendly matches, one against the Egyptian national team on the 27th and another against the Serbian national team on the 31st of the same month.

The list included 25 players, most notably Salem Al-Dawsari, Mohammed Kanoo, and Salman Al-Faraj, along with young talents that the coaching staff aims to give an opportunity to prove themselves during the current phase.

The coaching staff also decided to organize a parallel camp for the B team in Jeddah at the same time, under the supervision of Renard and led by the Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio, the coach of the under-23 team.

The second national team roster included 25 players, among them Muteb Al-Harbi, Ali Lajami, and Sabri Dahl, in a move aimed at expanding the base of technical selections.

This approach is part of a comprehensive preparation plan aimed at closely assessing the levels of all players, enhancing physical and technical readiness, and boosting cohesion ahead of upcoming international commitments.

This dual camp reflects the coaching staff's desire to create strong competition among the players and provide the opportunity for as many as possible to be considered for the final roster in the upcoming phase.
