The Argentine defender Cristian Romero, a player for Tottenham Hotspur, has opened the door to the possibility of leaving the team during the upcoming summer transfer window, in statements that have sparked much debate about his future.

Romero said about his future: "My focus is currently on Tottenham and trying to help the team in this difficult situation... That is the priority, and then we will see what happens. But for now, I want to regain my energy and contribute to the team."

These statements come at a time when Tottenham is experiencing an unstable period in terms of results, which increases speculation about the possibility of some of its stars leaving at the end of the season, most notably Romero.
