The official account of the UEFA Champions League revealed via the X platform the list of nominees for the Best Player award in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the competition, which took place on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The list included Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, after his outstanding performance by scoring two goals against Manchester City during a 2-1 victory, in one of the standout matches of the round.

The list also featured Sporting Lisbon player Francisco Trincão, who delivered an impressive performance by assisting two goals during the 5-0 victory over Bodo/Glimt.

Also included in the list is Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai, after scoring a goal in the 4-0 win against Galatasaray.

The list is completed by the presence of Barcelona winger Raphinha, who caught the eye by scoring two goals and assisting two more during the 7-2 victory over Newcastle United.
