Wadi Degla Coach: I Wished to Be Among the Top Seven
Mohamed El-Sheikh, the Wadi Degla coach, confirmed that he wished to be among the top seven teams in the championship stage of the league title, noting that his players did not fall short.
Mohamed El-Sheikh said on "On Sport 1" channel that he followed the Zamalek vs. Enppi match, which ended in a loss for the Whites, affecting his team's chances of being among the top seven. He added, "I was in England at the time and made sure to send a message to the players, urging them not to be sad and to continue putting in the effort."
The sheikh added that his team plays all its matches with the aim of winning. Speaking about the match against Zamalek, he said: "I told the players before the match not to be afraid and to play with confidence, and we succeeded in achieving victory, which reflects the team's character."
He also spoke about Yannick Ferreira, the former coach of Zamalek, confirming that he is a good coach but was treated unfairly due to the limited time he had.
He also pointed out that Torop, the Al-Ahly coach, needs time and is being treated unfairly.
