Al-Zawraa team achieved an important away victory after defeating its host Al-Gharaf with a goal to nil, in the match that brought them together at the International Nasiriyah Stadium as part of the twenty-third round of the Iraqi Stars League, amidst a distinguished crowd presence in the stands of the stadium.
