Mamdouh Abbas Calls for Increased Zamalek Fans Against Otoho
Mamdouh Abbas, the honorary president of Zamalek Club, called for an increase in the number of the club's fans at the match against Otoho of Congo in the Confederation Cup.
Zamalek will face Otoho next Sunday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
Abbas said on the "X" platform: "The match between Zamalek and the Congolese club Otoho next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium is a decisive and knockout match."
He added: "The stadium's capacity has been set at 45,000 spectators, whereas it was previously set at 55,000. As fans of Zamalek Club, we hope that this decision will be reconsidered and the stadium doors will be opened for an additional 10,000 spectators."
He concluded: "I believe that Major General Mahmoud Tawfiq (Minister of Interior) will meet the demands of Zamalek Club's fans, and ultimately, justice is on earth and the Just is in heaven."
