Torop promises Al-Jazzar to participate with Al-Ahly soon
The newspaper "Youm7" revealed that Danish coach Jes Thorup promised Al Ahly player Amr El-Gazzar participation with the team in matches as soon as possible.
Amr El-Gazzar joined Al Ahly from the National Bank in January and has not played with Al Ahly since then due to injury.
The newspaper clarified that after Yassin Marai's injury, Al-Jazzar was the closest to participating with Al-Ahly, but the player got injured, which gave the opportunity for Hadi Riad to participate. He established himself in Al-Ahly's starting lineup alongside Yasser Ibrahim.
Al Ahly will face Tunisian club Esperance next Saturday in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
