Doubts About Tiknaouti's Participation with the Royal Army Against Pyramids
Tuesday 17-03-2026
The medical and technical teams of the Royal Army team continue to monitor the health condition of goalkeeper Ahmed Reda Tagnaouti, in order to determine his potential participation in the anticipated match against Egypt's Pyramids, in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

Teknaouti's shoulder injury recurred during the first leg match, raising doubts about his readiness for the crucial encounter.

The goalkeeper is undergoing an intensive treatment program under the supervision of the medical staff to decide whether he will accompany the team to Egypt and participate in the match, or be given more rest.

In the event that his absence is confirmed, the young goalkeeper Hakim Al-Misbahi remains an available option to replace him, especially after the performances he delivered with the Moroccan under-20 national team.

It is noted that Teknaouti had previously suffered a shoulder injury during the match against Ittihad Touarga, which kept him off the field for two weeks, before returning in the first leg against Pyramids, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
