Wydad Athletic Club topped the list of clubs with the highest market value in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, according to data from the statistics platform "SofaScore."

This ranking reflects the financial capabilities of the team, along with the quality of its human resources, making it one of the top contenders for the continental title.

The market value of Wydad reached approximately 20.36 million euros, ahead of Egypt's Zamalek, which came in second with a value of 15.28 million euros, followed by Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi in third place with 12.08 million euros.

The list also included the presence of other Maghreb clubs, with CR Belouizdad ranking fourth with a value of 10.35 million euros, followed by USM Alger in fifth place with 8.68 million euros, while Olympique Safi occupied the sixth position with a value of 6.97 million euros.

The presence of Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech is considered one of the key factors that contributed to Wydad topping this list, due to the extensive experience he gained during his professional career with several European clubs.

Ziyech represents a significant addition to the team, both technically on the field and in terms of marketing value, given his previous experiences with prominent clubs such as Chelsea, Ajax, and Galatasaray. This has clearly impacted Wydad's standing in this ranking.
