Moroccan international Nabil El Zhar, a midfielder for AS Roma, was the victim of an armed robbery at his home in the Italian capital, Rome, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Media reports stated that six masked individuals broke into the player's house in the Castel Fusano area around three in the morning after they managed to break one of the living room windows.

The sources clarified that the attackers held Ainawi and several of his family members inside one of the rooms before they proceeded to search the house and seize a collection of valuable items.

According to the available information, the stolen items included jewelry and luxury goods valued at approximately 10,000 euros, among them a "Rolex" watch and several bags from well-known brands.

Following the incident, the security agencies quickly moved and opened an investigation to uncover the circumstances of the event and identify those involved.
