Al Ahly Reveals the Nature of Zizo and Aliou Dieng's Injuries After Facing Tunisian Esperance

Ahmed Gaballah, the doctor of the Egyptian Al-Ahly team, revealed details of the injuries sustained by the duo Ahmed Mostafa Zizo and Aliou Dieng during the team's match against Tunisia's Esperance Sportive in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

The Al Ahly doctor explained, in statements reported by the club's official website, that Zizo suffered a severe bruise on his ankle during the match, while Dieng sustained a bruise on his hand while participating in the game.

Al-Ahly lost to Esperance with a score of 1-0 in the match that took place early this morning. The only goal of the match was scored by player Mohamed Tougai from a penalty kick.

The second leg match between the two teams is scheduled to take place next Saturday in Cairo, at 9:00 PM Cairo time and 10:00 PM Mecca time, to determine the qualification for the semi-finals.

The Al-Ahly delegation is expected to arrive in Cairo this evening from Tunisia to begin preparations for the anticipated return match.
