Al Ahly Plans to Sell Reda Slim in the Summer Transfer Window
The officials of Egypt's Al Ahly have decided to market the Moroccan player Reda Slim during the upcoming summer transfer window, due to the coaching staff's dissatisfaction with his performance this season.
According to "Youm7" newspaper, Al Ahly's management is considering permanently parting ways with the player in the summer, after he failed to deliver the expected performance, which reduces his chances of returning to the team in the new season.
The newspaper clarified that the management of the Red Castle prioritizes signing a foreign striker during the summer transfer window, especially after striker Ylsin Kamwish did not perform as expected since joining on loan from Norway's Tromsø during the last winter transfer period until the end of the current season.
Rida Slim had moved to the Moroccan Royal Army on loan last summer until the end of the current season, in an attempt to regain his form.
Al Ahly club bears part of the player's salary during the loan period, paying around $90,000 per month according to the agreement between the two clubs.
