Moroccan Mahmoud Bentayek, the left-back of Zamalek, commented on the possibility of his transfer to the traditional rival, Al Ahly of Egypt, in the upcoming period. His sarcastic remarks sparked reactions among the fans.

Bentayk's statements came during his appearance on the Ramadan prank show "Ramez Live the Beast," hosted by the artist Ramez Galal, which airs during the month of Ramadan.

During the episode, Ramez Galal joked with the Moroccan player by asking about the possibility of his transfer to Al-Ahly, saying that Ahmed Sayed Zizo had previously answered "no" before eventually transferring. Bentayk laughed and commented: "Zizo said no? Then I'll say yes to transferring to Al-Ahly."

During the episode, Bentaik also refused to answer another question regarding the preference between Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Emam Ashour concerning who is the better player.

It is noted that Bentaik had previously been close to terminating his contract with Zamalek due to delayed financial dues, before reconsidering and continuing with the team, amid reports linking him with a potential move to Pyramids or Al Ahly.
