The German club RB Leipzig officially announced the signing of German midfielder Rocco Reitz from Borussia Mönchengladbach. He will join the team starting in the summer of 2026 with a long-term contract extending until 2031.

The 23-year-old player progressed through the Borussia Mönchengladbach academy since the age of seven, before reaching the first team and becoming a key figure in the midfield, having played over 90 official matches with the club in various competitions.

According to reports, the deal was valued at around 20 million euros with additional incentives that could reach up to 3 million euros, in a move aimed at strengthening Leipzig's midfield in preparation for the upcoming seasons.

For his part, Rocco Reitz stated that the decision to leave his childhood club was not easy, but he sees the move to Leipzig as an important step in his career. He also emphasized that he will continue to focus on Mönchengladbach until the end of the season before starting his new experience.
