Press reports revealed that the Portuguese coach plans to reinstate the duo Danilo Pereira and Mamadou Doumbia into the starting lineup for the upcoming match.

The two players were absent from the recent match of Al-Ittihad against Al-Riyadh in the 26th round of the Saudi Roshn League.

Pereira's absence was due to injury, while Doumbia missed the previous match because of a suspension, which affected the coaching staff's options in that game.
