Record Attendance for Barcelona Fans at Spotify Camp Nou
Sunday 15-03-2026
The match between Barcelona and Sevilla recorded a record attendance at Spotify Camp Nou, marking the highest number of fans for the Catalan team at home in nearly three years.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," the match was attended by 56,483 fans out of a total capacity of 62,652 seats. This came after the reopening of the Gol Nord stand following the club receiving the green light last Tuesday for phase 1C of the stadium expansion works.

The newspaper explained that this attendance is the largest for Barcelona at their home stadium this season, surpassing the record set during the team's match against Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey on March 3rd, which was attended by 45,398 spectators.

That match saw the inauguration of the cheering section in the corner of the side stand along with the Gol Sud stand, while around 800 fans attended the Sevilla match in the lower part of Gol Sud, known as Gol 1957.

The newspaper added that this figure represents the largest attendance for Barcelona at their home ground since the team's match against Real Mallorca on May 28, 2023, when 88,775 spectators attended the game, which ended with Barcelona winning 3-0. It was the last match held at Spotify Camp Nou before the team temporarily moved to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys due to renovation work.

The newspaper also noted that the record attendance for a Barcelona match at the Montjuïc Stadium reached 50,319 spectators during the team's encounter with Real Madrid in La Liga on May 11, 2025, which ended with a 4-3 victory for Barcelona.
