According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," Cancelo opened his scoring account with Barcelona in his second stint with the team, after delivering an outstanding offensive performance against Sevilla, where he played a direct role in the two penalty goals successfully executed by his teammate Raphinha.

Cancelo's goal came in the 60th minute of the match after a well-organized team attack by Barcelona, where the team maintained possession until the ball reached the Portuguese full-back, who was rapidly advancing on the left side.

Cancelo charged down the left flank before calmly dribbling past a Sevilla defender inside the penalty area, then finished the attack with a toe-poke shot that nestled into the net.
