Barcelona achieved a significant victory over Sevilla with a score of 5-2 in the match that brought them together as part of the 28th round of the Spanish League, at Spotify Camp Nou.

Barcelona opened the scoring early in the ninth minute through Brazilian Raphinha from a penalty kick, before the same player returned to add the second goal in the 21st minute from another penalty kick.

The Catalan team continued its dominance in the first half, with Dani Olmo scoring the third goal in the 38th minute. Meanwhile, Sevilla managed to reduce the deficit in injury time of the first half at the 45+4 minute mark through Ouso.

In the second half, Raphinha shone again and scored the fourth goal for Barcelona and his third personally in the 51st minute, before João Cancelo concluded the Catalan team's quintet by scoring the fifth goal in the 60th minute, while Sevilla's second goal came in the 90+2 minute through Djibril Sow.

With this victory, Barcelona increased their tally to 70 points at the top of the Spanish league standings, while Sevilla remained at 31 points in the fourteenth position.
