Manchester United coach Michael Carrick appeared in a press statement following the 3-1 victory over Aston Villa in the 30th round of the English Premier League at Old Trafford.

The coach said, "I was very pleased with many aspects. We were a good team. With all due respect to them, they had some chances in the match, but we were the more dangerous side for most of it. It was an important match after the recent defeat, and the players showed a great reaction."

He added, "Two good teams. Things don't always go this way, and matches aren't always exciting and thrilling. We were in a good position in the first half, and we aspired for more. We knew we were capable of it, and the players performed brilliantly in securing the match."

He elaborated on the partnership between Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro: "They have a great understanding between them. There are things that can be trained, and there are other things that cannot be acquired."

Regarding Fernandez: "We are happy to have him with us. He has proven over the years how impactful he is in crucial moments. He is always present, initiating attacks in both training and matches. You can always rely on him. It's truly a wonderful trait. He has experienced ups and downs here, but that has never deterred his determination. He was present today to make a difference."

Regarding being in third place, he concluded: "We can enjoy the victory. It's a great feeling and we strive to get used to it. We focus on our performance and understand our position and what it takes to win such matches. We are in a good position right now, but we still have a lot to achieve."
