Real Madrid Sweeps Elche and Continues Pressure on Barcelona

Real Madrid achieved a deserved victory over Elche with a score of 4-1 in the 28th round of the Spanish League, in the match held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Real Madrid raised its tally to 66 points in second place, temporarily one point behind Barcelona, while Elche's tally froze at 26 points in seventeenth place.

Real Madrid scored a third goal through Dean Housen in the 66th minute after a cross from young player Daniel Yanez, which Housen converted with a brilliant header into the net.

In the 85th minute, Elche reduced the score after a mistake by Camavinga reached an Elche player, who in turn passed it to his teammate who sent a cross that Manuel Ángel mistakenly turned into his own net.

Arda Güler scored a wonderful goal for Real Madrid after shooting the ball from the middle of Real Madrid's field in the 89th minute, taking advantage of the goalkeeper being out of his goal.
