The decisive factor in Juventus' move towards Alisson is coach Luciano Spalletti's familiarity with the goalkeeper from his days at AS Roma and his high regard for his performance in recent years, making the Italian club's negotiations more realistic and easier.

Juventus's interest in the Brazilian goalkeeper stems from the urgent need for a top-tier goalkeeper, as the management is not convinced by Di Gregorio's level, and Mattia Perin's desire to leave for regular playing opportunities.
