The German coach Matthias Jaissle, the head coach of the Saudi Al-Ahli team, aims to quickly overcome the effects of the recent loss and fully shift his focus to the upcoming match against Saudi Al-Hilal in the King Cup of Champions.

Jaissle's statements came following Al-Ahli's unexpected defeat to Saudi Arabia's Al-Qadisiyah with a score of 3-2, in the match held as part of the twenty-sixth round of the Saudi Roshn League at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

The Al-Ahli coach confirmed that the result was disappointing, especially after his team took the lead in the match before allowing Al-Qadisiyah to come back and overturn the score in the final minutes.

Yaisleh pointed out that what happened should become an important lesson for the team in the upcoming phase, emphasizing that the competition in the league is still ongoing despite the painful loss.

The German coach emphasized the need to quickly regain balance before facing Al Hilal, which he described as a big match requiring full readiness from all players.

He also explained that his team was capable of securing the match by scoring a third goal, but missing opportunities gave Al-Qadsia a chance to get back into the game.

He added that the decline in performance in the second half was not desirable, but he emphasized the importance of closing the chapter on the match and focusing on upcoming commitments.

Al-Ahly is expected to face Al-Hilal in a strong encounter in the semi-finals of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup next Wednesday at the Al-Inma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
