Saturday 14-03-2026
Al-Qadisiyah and Al-Riyadh from Saudi Arabia set social media ablaze after directing sharp mockery at Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad, following thrilling victories in the 26th round of the Saudi Roshan League.

Al-Qadsia managed to ignite the title race after a dramatic comeback against Al-Ahli, overturning a two-goal deficit to secure an exciting 3-2 victory in the match held at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam.

In another surprise during the same round, the Riyadh team managed to defeat Al-Ittihad with a score of 3-1, despite the Tigers initially taking the lead through Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

Riyadh responded strongly after the goal, scoring a winning hat-trick through the Portuguese duo Tozé and Leandro Antunes, in addition to Senegalese Mamadou Sylla, to secure a remarkable victory.

After the match, Al-Qadisiyah's account on the X platform posted a satirical image showing the opposing team's players on a food cart, accompanied by a comment indicating the closure of the "Al-Ahli stall" in the city of Khobar.

Al-Qadisiyah did not stop there, but published another post with the phrase "One half... to demolish the fortress," referring to Al-Ahli's nickname, "the fortress."

Riyadh followed the same approach, posting a similar picture of Al-Ittihad players on a food cart, with a sarcastic comment indicating the closure of "Al-Ittihad's stall" in Riyadh.

These posts sparked a wide wave of interaction among audiences on social media, with opinions divided between those who considered them natural banter between clubs and others who saw them as an exaggeration in celebration.

Al-Qadsia occupies the fourth position in the league standings with 61 points, while Riyadh is in the sixteenth position with 19 points, continuing its struggle to escape the relegation zone.
