Krunoslav Jurčić, the coach of Pyramids, directed sharp criticism at the Egyptian Football Association.

The match between Pyramids and the Royal Army ended in a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

During the press conference following the match, Yurčić recalled an important note, interrupting the journalists' questions to direct criticism at the Egyptian Football Association.

The Pyramids coach said, "Currently, there are 8 teams in the quarter-final stage of the tournament. We are the only team that will play a match in the Egypt Cup after 3 days."

He continued, "We are the only team that will experience this, playing a match between the first and second legs of the CAF Champions League."

Yurčić concluded: "Thank you to whoever made that decision in Egypt, truly thank you, that's all I wanted to say unexpectedly."

Pyramids will meet Petrojet next Tuesday in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup, and then the Sky Team will face the Royal Army in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals on Saturday, March 21.
