The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed the possibility of a crisis arising between Real Madrid and the French national team due to the condition of striker Kylian Mbappe, amid the uncertainty surrounding his participation in upcoming matches with the royal team.

According to the newspaper, Mbappe participated in training on Friday in an attempt to catch up with the second leg of the UEFA Champions League match against Manchester City. He also considers participating in the Madrid Derby match against Atletico Madrid scheduled for Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu.

These two encounters are of great importance to Real Madrid and the French striker, not only for what the player can offer the team, but also because of the approaching international break starting on March 23, during which Mbappe is expected to be called up to represent the French national team.

The newspaper explained that the head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, intends to include the Real Madrid striker during this period, as the French team will play two friendly matches, the first against Brazil in Boston, USA, and the second three days later against Colombia in Washington.

The match against Brazil gains additional importance as it is linked to several commercial activities related to the sports brand sponsoring both teams, especially since the match will take place in the United States, which is preparing to host the World Cup in the coming months, giving Mbappe an important role in these promotional events.

If Mbappe does not participate in either of Real Madrid's upcoming matches due to injury, a major problem could arise. The Spanish newspaper indicated that the royal club might refuse to allow the player to join the French national team if it provides a medical report proving his knee injury, which could allow him to stay in Madrid and continue his recovery program for up to ten days.

Nevertheless, FIFA's player transfer regulations stipulate that clubs are obliged to allow their players to join national teams when called up, if the matches are listed on the international calendar, which applies to the upcoming international break.

However, on the other hand, the club can prevent the player from joining his national team if it provides an official medical report proving his injury, which has happened frequently in the past with many national teams.

The report also mentioned that the French Football Federation might request Mbappe to go to Clairefontaine for a medical examination to confirm his condition, according to the regulations governing the process of calling up injured players.

Based on this, a real crisis might erupt if Mbappe does not participate in Real Madrid's matches, which also explains the French striker's eagerness to quickly return to matches to prove his readiness and justify his inclusion in his national team during the international break.
