Sadio Mane's Injury Confuses Jesus' Plans Before the Gulf Match
Friday 13-03-2026
A technical crisis looms within Al-Nassr Saudi team ahead of their anticipated match against Al-Khaleej Saudi, as the participation of Senegalese star Sadio Mane has become uncertain due to a foot injury.

Al-Nassr is preparing to face Al-Khaleej on Saturday evening as part of the 26th round of the Saudi Roshn League, in a match that will take place at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium.

Press reports indicated that Mane felt pain in his ankle during the team's last training session, raising doubts about his ability to participate in the upcoming match.

Despite this physical issue, the player traveled with the Al-Nassr team to Dammam, keeping the door open for the possibility of his participation if his condition improves before the match begins.

On the other hand, Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus has started preparing a potential replacement, considering relying on Abdulrahman Ghareeb to fill the winger position if Mane's absence is confirmed.

Mane has had a good season with Al-Nassr so far, having participated in 26 matches across various competitions, during which he scored 10 goals and provided 7 assists to his teammates.

The match between Al-Nassr and Al-Khaleej is scheduled to kick off at 10:00 PM Saudi time as part of the 26th round of the league.

Al-Nassr tops the Roshan League standings with 64 points, while Al-Khaleej is in tenth place with 30 points after 25 rounds of the competition.
