The media personality Ahmed Hassan, the former Egyptian football star, revealed a new decision by Jes Torup, the Al-Ahly coach, regarding Ashraf Ben Sharqi, the team's star.
Hassan said on Facebook: "Source: Jes Torup is considering trying Ashraf Bencharki in the striker position in the coming period."
Al-Ahly is preparing to face its Tunisian counterpart, Esperance, next Sunday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The match between Al Ahly and Esperance will kick off at 11:00 PM Cairo time and at midnight Mecca time.
