Barcelona Opens New Fan Zone in Match Against Sevilla
The official website of FC Barcelona announced that the upcoming match against Sevilla, scheduled for Sunday, March 15 at 5:15 PM Cairo time, will feature the opening of a new fan zone located on the first tier of the southern goal at the club's stadium, named "Goal 1957," in honor of the stadium that was inaugurated on September 24, 1957.
According to the same source, this new area resulted from a dialogue process that took place over the past months with representatives of various fan groups, including historical groups. Approximately 800 people are expected to participate in bringing this area to life, while the club continues to work on the final proposal for the future fan platform.
The club indicated that after receiving the licensing approval related to phase 1C last Tuesday, the northern target area in the stadium was opened, and all new seats were allocated to season ticket holders, in addition to those who applied for their tickets last October and were unable to obtain them at that time.
Due to the number of applications exceeding the total available seats, a draw was conducted in front of a notary last Wednesday to determine the selected members, according to the club's official website.
After the draw was completed, the club informed the selected members, who can now proceed with purchasing their tickets for this new area in the northern goal of the stadium, enhancing fan attendance and ensuring better organization for following the team's matches.
