Eric Garcia had been absent from regular training due to experiencing muscle fatigue, while Lamine Yamal suffered from a general illness that was not expected to worsen. The young player also missed the gathering organized by Ronald Araujo at his home with the team's players in attendance, which raised concerns about his condition.

Barcelona is preparing to face Sevilla on March 15 as part of the Spanish League competitions, which is the same day as the club's presidential elections.

The players returned after Barcelona's 1-1 draw in their last match against Newcastle, as Flick decided to give his players a day off on Wednesday to recover their energy.

Lamine Yamal is considered a key player in Barcelona's current lineup, especially as he participates regularly despite fasting during the month of Ramadan.
