Saudi National Team Concludes Club Tours in Preparation for the 2026 World Cup
Officials of the Saudi national team have concluded the field visit program to the Saudi Professional League clubs, as part of early preparations for the "Green Falcons" participation in the 2026 World Cup finals.
These tours included direct meetings with club managements, technical staff, and players, aiming to enhance technical cooperation between the national team and clubs, ensuring a higher level of readiness before the world championship.
The technical and administrative staff of the national team focused during the meetings on explaining the details of the preparation plan, which aims to develop the physical and technical condition of the players in the upcoming period.
The national team officials also emphasized the importance of adhering to comprehensive programs that include recovery, proper nutrition, and improved sleep quality to ensure the best possible performance of the players during upcoming international competitions.
The program concluded after a series of visits that included 19 clubs in 13 different cities and provinces, where meetings were held with about 80 players in addition to the clubs' technical staff.
The meetings held by the national team officials with the clubs extended for more than 40 hours of discussions and meetings, aiming to achieve the highest level of coordination before the upcoming phase.
The Saudi national team is set to participate in Group H during the 2026 World Cup alongside the teams of Spain, Uruguay, and Cape Verde.
The United States, Canada, and Mexico will host the 2026 World Cup from June 11 to July 19 of the same year.
