The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has signed an open-ended contract with national coach Mohamed Wahbi to lead the Moroccan national football team in the upcoming phase.

According to reports, the contract is open-ended, meaning that Wahbi's continuation as head of the technical staff will depend on the evaluation conducted after the end of the 2026 World Cup, in addition to the results achieved by the team in this global event.

Sources also revealed that Wahbi's salary was set at 60 million centimes per month, which is double the salary he earned when he was the coach of the under-20 national team, where he received about 30 million centimes.

The Moroccan coach faces significant challenges in the upcoming phase, especially with the Moroccan fans' aspirations to continue the national team's positive results and achieve a strong presence in the 2026 World Cup.
