Royal Army Loses Its Captain Against Pyramids
The Royal Army received unpleasant news before facing Pyramids in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals, as team captain Rabie Harimat was confirmed to be absent due to suspension.
According to press reports, Hareemat will miss the match after receiving three yellow cards, the last of which was during the encounter with Al Ahly of Egypt in the previous round of the competition.
The Royal Army's captain won't be the only absentee, as the team will also miss the services of goalkeeper Ayoub El Khayati, along with players Tawfiq Razqo and Laurent M'Bemba due to injuries, as the trio continues their rehabilitation program.
The match is scheduled to take place on Friday at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, starting at 22:00 GMT, under the supervision of Somali referee Omar Artan, while Ghanaian Daniel Laria will manage the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) technology, assisted by Libyan Ahmed Al-Shalmani.
