Anticipated Administrative Shift at Al-Nassr.. Al-Muhaideb Approaches Return to Club Presidency
The eyes of Al-Nassr fans are turning towards potential administrative changes within the club, after reports revealed an agreement among several supporting businessmen for the return of Ibrahim Al-Muhaideb to the position of club president.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Youm" reported that there is a consensus among Al-Nassr supporters to bring back Al-Muhaideb to lead the club in the next season, succeeding the current president Abdullah Al-Majed.
According to sources, understandings have been reached with the club's management and the Public Investment Fund, granting Al-Muhaidib full authority to manage Al-Nassr's affairs in the upcoming phase.
Ibrahim Al-Muhaideb left the position of club president in August 2024, after a short period of no more than two months since taking on the role.
Al-Muhaidib's resignation at that time came as a result of disagreements over administrative powers, in addition to what was described as dual management within the club.
Supporters of the club hope that his return will contribute to achieving administrative stability and enhancing organizational work within Al-Nassr in the upcoming period.
On the technical front, Al-Nassr team is preparing for an important match against Al-Khaleej next Saturday as part of the 26th round of the Saudi Roshn League.
Al-Nassr currently tops the Saudi Professional League standings with 64 points, leading by two points over Al-Ahli, who are in second place.
