Al Ahly Plans to Make 3 Administrative Changes After Decline in Results
The management of Al Ahly of Egypt has decided to implement several administrative changes in the upcoming period as part of a plan to restructure the football sector, following the team's decline in performance this season.
According to "Yalla Kora," the club's management, led by Mahmoud El-Khatib, is considering implementing reforms in several sectors within the club to improve administrative and technical performance in the upcoming phase.
The report clarified that Osama Hilal, who is responsible for contracts and scouting, is at risk of losing his position following criticism of some recent deals, particularly the signing of striker Yelcin Kamuysh, who has not delivered the expected performance since joining the team.
The site indicated that the duo, Yassin Mansour, the club's vice president, and Sayed Abdel Hafiz, a board member, are considering appointing a person with experience and strong connections to manage the contracts file, in case a final decision is made on the departure of Osama Hilal.
The report also indicated that the powers of Mohamed Youssef, the sporting director, may be affected following the decision to grant a larger role to Yassin Mansour and Sayed Abdel Hafiz, especially since Youssef is currently overseeing several other sectors such as youth, academies, and women's football.
The report concluded by noting that the club's planning committee, headed by Mokhtar Mokhtar and including Zakaria Nassef and Mohamed Youssef, is at risk of being dissolved and its members thanked soon, as part of a comprehensive plan to restructure the football sector at Al Ahly.
