The management of Al Ahly of Egypt, led by Mahmoud El Khatib, has begun early efforts to search for an outstanding foreign striker to strengthen the team's attack during the upcoming summer transfer window.

This step came after the Angolan striker Yelsin Kamwishi failed to deliver the expected performance since joining Al-Ahly on loan during the last winter transfer window.

Kamwish is no longer considered by the team's coaching staff after his poor performance in the matches he participated in, leading the club's management to decide not to activate the option for him to continue with the team after the current season ends.

The media personality Ahmed Shobeir revealed that Al Ahly officials have already started moving to search for a top foreign striker from the African continent, aiming to solve the attacking line crisis and compensate for the failure of the Kamouish experience, in preparation for the next season.
