Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium Named Best in the World for 2025
The StadiumDB website, specializing in stadium engineering and design, revealed the results of the Best Stadium in the World competition for the year 2025, in which the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat was crowned first place after scoring 14,481 points.
The sixteenth edition of the competition saw the participation of 7,451 voters from around the world, who evaluated 28 new stadiums opened in 2025, based on criteria including design, architecture, and fan experience inside the stadiums.
The list also saw a notable Moroccan presence, with the Grand Stadium of Tangier ranking second with a total of 10,453 points, while Claro Arena in Santiago came third with 10,318 points.
This crowning reflects the significant development in Morocco's sports infrastructure in recent years, especially with the ongoing preparations to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, in addition to Morocco's participation in organizing the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal.
