Temporary Suspension of the Moroccan League
The National Professional Football League announced a temporary suspension of the Moroccan Professional Championship competitions during the upcoming period.
The league explained that this decision is made to give Moroccan clubs participating in continental competitions the opportunity to play home and away matches under the best possible conditions.
It also pointed out that the break coincides with the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, allowing club members to celebrate the occasion.
The governing body of professional football in Morocco confirmed that this step aims to ensure equal opportunities among clubs, in addition to providing suitable conditions for Moroccan football representatives in African competitions.
