A morale boost for the Royal Army before facing Pyramids
Tuesday 10-03-2026
The Royal Army is preparing to host its counterpart, Pyramids, at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat for the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.

The Moroccan team's training sessions brought positive news for Portuguese coach Alexander Santos, with the return of goalkeeper Reda Tagnaouti and player Mohsen Bourika to participate in the group training sessions.

The two players had missed several of the team's matches in the local championship recently, especially Bourika, who was sidelined due to injury.

The coaching staff is awaiting the green light from the team's medical crew to potentially rely on the duo in the upcoming match against Pyramids.

The match is scheduled to take place without the presence of spectators due to the sanction imposed on the Royal Army by the Confederation of African Football.

The Royal Army is expected to host the Egyptian team on March 13th in Rabat, in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
