Al Ahly made a new decision regarding Imam Ashour, the star of the red team, following his commitment in the recent period.
Former Egyptian football star Ahmed Yasser said on Facebook: "In recognition of his commitment and brilliance, Al Ahly is deducting the value of Imam Ashour's penalty over two months instead of one."
Al Ahly had imposed a financial penalty on Imam Ashour after he failed to accompany the team delegation traveling to Tanzania to face Young Africans, as part of the CAF Champions League competition.
Al Ahly currently holds the third position in the league standings with 40 points.
