Disciplinary Penalty for Jesus After His Controversial Statements Against Al-Hilal
The Disciplinary Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation decided to impose a financial penalty on Portuguese Jorge Jesus, the head coach of Al-Nassr team, due to his statements that were considered offensive to Al-Hilal Club.
The decision came after reviewing the statements made by the Portuguese coach, which sparked widespread controversy in sports circles in recent days.
The Disciplinary Committee clarified in its statement that Jesus will incur a financial penalty of 50,000 Saudi Riyals due to the violation committed.
The penalty included allocating 30,000 riyals to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, while 20,000 riyals will be paid to Al-Hilal Club.
The management of Al-Hilal had filed an official complaint against the coach of Al-Nassr, objecting to statements they considered offensive to the club.
Al Hilal also issued an official statement through its media platforms, expressing its complete rejection of those statements and calling for appropriate legal action to be taken.
It is noted that Jorge Jesus recently took over as the coach of Al-Nassr, having previously led Al-Hilal during two prior periods and achieved several successes with them.
This penalty comes as part of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's commitment to enforcing discipline and maintaining a competitive atmosphere among clubs.
