The German coach Matthias Jaissle rewarded the Al-Ahli team players with a special decision following their victory over Al-Ittihad in the Jeddah Derby, as part of the Saudi Professional League competition.

Al-Ahli secured an important victory over its rival Al-Ittihad with a score of three goals to one, in the match held at Al-Inma Stadium in Jeddah as part of the 25th round of the Saudi Roshan League.

Yaisle's decision to grant the team players a short two-day break came as an appreciation for the great effort they put in during the tough match against Al-Ittihad.

The Al-Ahly players are scheduled to return to group training next Monday to begin preparations for the anticipated match against Al-Qadsia in the upcoming round of the competition.

Al-Ahli is preparing to face Al-Qadisiyah in a match scheduled for next Friday evening at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, as part of the 26th round of the league.

The match holds great significance for both teams amidst the fierce competition for top positions in the Saudi League standings.

Al-Ahly occupies the second position in the league standings with 62 points, just two points behind the leading team, Al-Nassr.

On the other hand, Al-Qadsia is in fourth place with 57 points, which makes the upcoming match between the two teams carry a strong competitive nature in the battle for the top.
