The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' indicated that Pedri returned strongly after recovering from a muscular injury in the right thigh's biceps, which kept him out of the field for seven matches. He participated for short periods against Levante and Villarreal before delivering impressive performances against Atlético Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.

In the latest match against Athletic Bilbao, Pedri contributed to Barcelona's victory with three valuable points in the competition for the La Liga title. After coming on at the start of the second half, he touched the ball 37 times and made 23 passes, 19 of which were successful, achieving an accuracy rate of 82.6% according to Opta data. He also succeeded in executing one out of two dribble attempts, recovered the ball twice, and earned three fouls at critical moments to calm the play and stop the opponent's attacks.
