Reports on Sunday revealed that Spanish coach Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has been suspended for two matches after receiving a new warning during his team's match against Newcastle United.

Manchester City secured a 3-1 victory over Newcastle United in the match that brought them together in the round of 16 of the FA Cup.

The "Manchester Evening News" reported that Guardiola will miss two matches after receiving his sixth warning during the Newcastle match, which results in a suspension according to the competition's regulations.

The report clarified that the suspension penalty will not include the Carabao Cup final, which will feature Manchester City against Arsenal.

According to the report, Guardiola will miss the match against West Ham United in the Premier League, as well as the FA Cup quarter-final match.

The Manchester City coach strongly objected to the referee during the second half for not awarding a foul in favor of his player, Jeremy Doku.

Guardiola said in his statements after the match: "I will take a break during the games where I am not allowed to be on the bench."

He added, "It was a clear foul on Jeremy Doku. I didn't ask for a yellow card, but it was a foul, and of course, I will defend my team."
