Zamalek Council Visits Mamdouh Abbas to Grant Him Honorary Presidency

The Board of Directors of the Egyptian Zamalek Club, headed by Hussein Labib, made it a point to visit former club president Mamdouh Abbas at his home. This visit was in honor of granting him honorary presidency of the club in recognition of the support and assistance he has provided to the White Castle over many years.

In an official statement on Saturday evening, Zamalek clarified that the board of directors presented a commemorative shield to Mamdouh Abbas on this occasion, in appreciation of his clear contributions and supportive stances towards the club for more than half a century, reflecting his great loyalty and continuous dedication to the club's elevation.

The visit was attended by all members of the Zamalek Board of Directors, along with several prominent figures, including former Zamalek star Hazem Emam, Ayman Mamdouh Abbas, Abdullah George, the board's advisor, and Kamal Shoaib, the club's legal advisor.

The visit was predominantly friendly in nature, as the Zamalek board expressed their great appreciation for the role Mamdouh Abbas plays in supporting the club.

For his part, Mamdouh Abbas expressed his happiness with this visit and being granted honorary presidency of the club, emphasizing that Zamalek needs the unity of all its members and their support in the coming period to fulfill the aspirations of its fans and return to winning titles.
